ROTARY CENTENNIAL PARK

Wednesday July 11th - 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Tonight's performer is Terri & Rick - Just for Kids. Terri Crawford & Rick Johnson began performing together in high school in Winnipeg in the 1970's. Their music brought them to southern Ontario where, as the Terri Crawford Band, they quickly established themselves as one of the hardest working groups in the country. They recorded four albums in the 1980's and played every major venue in the country before settling down to have a family. Performing sing-a-longs for their children's kindergarten class led them into the wonderful world of children's music.
Wednesday July 18th - 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Tonight's performer is Swing Street Big Band. Swing Street is a big band faithful to the style of those classic bands of the swing era. The band boasts a driving rhythm section, tight saxophone and brass sections able to go from a whisper to a roar in a split second, fluid soloists and great singers. Much of their repertoire is drawn from the music of those famous bandleaders. Come out and catch a performance. They guarantee you???ll be unable to sit still.
Wednesday July 25th - 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Tonight's performer is Emily and Friends. Having just turned 18, young Emily Yarascavitch is well on her way to becoming an accomplished young Canadian Fiddler and Stepdancer. She demonstrated a musical talent at a very early age and has since been making her mark across Canada and parts of the United States competing in various contests. Emily recently released her first recording entitled MY PASSION and in 2009 was selected to represent Ontario in the Canadian Grand Masters Junior Showcase. She will be accompanied by Evelyn Stinson on piano, and Fred Devolin on guitar - two dedicated backup musicians who entertain locally throughout the Durham Region.

Thursday July 19th - 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Tonight's performer is Classic Country. Classic Country(our style) was formed in 2007 and has four vocalists: Arlene McLellan (rhythm guitar), Garry Gardner (dobro), Don Gibbings (lead Guitar) and Steve Miller (bass guitar). Busy playing at community events, dances, anniversaries and jamborees you???ll enjoy old rock and roll, dance music and classic country.
Thursday July 26th - 7:00 - 8:30 pm
Tonight's performer is All Star Jam Band.
