Rain or shine, the annual event attracts more visitors every year. Downtown King Street will be open to pedestrian traffic only, where residents and visitors can enjoy a day of fantastic treats, live music and community displays.
Children will be entertained with pony rides, face painting, a bouncy castle and carnival rides. For the young at heart there will be of arts and crafts from local vendors and sales at the downtown stores, all to the sweet sound of jazz. All can enjoy a great selection of treats, including real maple taffy and maple doughnuts, ice-cream, and cotton candy.
The festival time is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Early risers will have an opportunity to kick off the festivities with pancakes, and yes, maple syrup.
